A change coin of 1 Hryvnia denomination "60 Years of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945" is dedicated to the 60^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945.

On the coin obverse above there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine is depicted, beneath – 2005, the coin mintage year; within the frame of the old-Rus ornamentation there is a three-lined inscription: УКРАЇНА/ 1/ ГРИВНЯ, as well as the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine;

On the coin reverse in that part of the segment which is bounded by three searchlight beams soldiers are depicted returning from the battle-front.

To the left there is an inscription: 60/ РОКІВ/ ПЕРЕМОГИ/ У ВЕЛИКІЙ/ ВІТЧИЗНЯНІЙ/ ВІЙНІ/ 1941 – 1945.
