The jubilee coin of 2 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to the principal Law of
Ukraine, adopted on June 28,1996 at the 5-th Session of the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine.

On the coin obverse
there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads
circumference decoration, framed with guilder-rose sprays. Above the State
Emblem there is the year of issue - 1997. Around the coin circumference there
are inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ - above and two line inscription 2 ÃÐÈÂͲ -
underneath. The inscriptions are separated from one another with decorative
signs.

On the coin reverse
there is a depiction of octahedron with a three line inscription: 28 ×ÅÐÂÍß
1996. Above the octahedron there is a heraldic ornamentation. The whole
composition is framed with beads ornamentation. Around the coin circumference
there is inscription: ÏÅÐØÀ в×ÍÈÖß ÊÎÍÑÒÈÒÓÖ²¯ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ.
