Jubilee coins are dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of adoption of the Act on Ukraine Independence by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on August 24, 1991.

On the coin obverse within the beads circumference there is a depiction of a crowned with a wreath composition, embodying the idea of Ukraine unification: the small State Emblem of Ukraine enframed with a vegetable ornamentation is supported by a lion and a Cossack holding a musket. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: 
on the golden coin: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 10 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, 2001 ð., designation of metal Au 900 and its weight 3,88.
on the silver coin: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 20 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, 2001 ð., as well as designation of metal - Ag 925 and  its weight 62,2;
on the german silver coin: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, 2001 ð.
On all coins there is and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.


On the coin reverse within the beads circumference upon the background of the map of Ukraine there is a depiction of the structure of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and circular inscriptions: 10 ÐÎʲ ÍÅÇÀËÅÆÍÎÑÒ² ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ, 1991, 2001.
