The commemorative coin of 200 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to the
outstanding architectural and historical monument of Kyiv Rus and the world
known center of Ukrainian spiritual culture.

On the coin obverse
in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, there is the depiction of
Trinity Gate Church of Lavra ensemble and a fragment of its main Belfry. To its
right there is a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine. Underneath
around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: 200 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ - in two lines
and 1996, year of issue - above it. Around the coin circumference there are
inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ - left and ÊÈÅÂÎ-ÏÅ×ÅÐÑÜÊÀ ËÀÂÐÀ - right.

On the coin reverse
at the composition upper part there are fragments of murals of the Trinity Gate
Church: ÁÎÃ ÎÒÅÖÜ, ÁÎÃ ÑÈÍ, ÁÎÃ ÄÓÕ ÑÂßÒÈÉ with relative inscriptions in old
Slavic print. Under it there is the depiction of God Mother, the patroness of
Zaporizhzhia Cossacks. All images are depicted upon clouds. Underneath there is
the Lavra panorama from L.Tarasevich's engraving, first printed in the book
"Pateryk Pechorskiy" (1702). The picture is framed with the beads circumference
decoration. On both sides of the picture there there are designations of Àu 900
and 15,55, coin's pure weight.
