The coin face value is 2 Hryvnias. The jubilee coin of 100 hryvnia denomination
is dedicated to the sixth centenary of the outstanding monument of the national
culture (1397).

On the coin obverse
the Small State Emblem of Ukraine is depicted over an open ancient book. Above,
along the circumference, there is a stylized inscription ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ; underneath,
there is a two line inscription 100 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ. At the left and at the right there
is a legend: 1997, coin issue year, Au 900, metal and its standard and 15,55 g,
gold pure weight.

On the coin reverse
against a background of a three column arcade, the following is depicted: Jesus
Christ within a circumference with abbreviations - IC - XC, the biblical King
David, the Kyivan scribe Spyrydoniy - protodeacon, and a fragment of a Church
Slavonic text. Above, along the circumference there is the stylized inscription:
ÊȯÂÑÜÊÈÉ ÏÑÀËÒÈÐ, beneath - the date: 1397.
