The coin is dedicated to Perejaslav Rada of January 8 (18), 1654, an important
event in the time of the national and liberation war of the Ukrainian people,
when the Assembly of foremen, Cossacks, petty bourgeoisie and peasants voted
for Ukraine joining the Russia as political self-government. For that time it
was of profressive importance for economic and cultural development of the
Ukrainian people.

On the coin obverse
upon the mirror-like background of a threefold arch of an Orthodox temple
there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine is depicted, beneath, in two
lines - the coin face value 10
ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, to the right in three lines - designation of metal Ag 925,
its pure weight 31.1 and the Mint logo, also to the right on the smooth
surface there is a semicircular inscription ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, beneath - the
coin mintage year 2004.

On the coin reverse

which there is the date 1654, to the right there is a semicircular
