The coin of the international ecological series is dedicated to the hedgehog
whose picture is thereon.
|
On the obverse the Small National Emblem of Ukraine is located in the
necklace circle, above it – the year of coinage -- 2006; between the
necklace circle and the coin edging there are inscriptions: above -
ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (The National Bank of Ukraine), below - 2 ÃÐÈÂͲ
(two hryvnias), to the left - kind of the metal and its fineness: Au 999.9,
its weight in fineness -- 1.24; to the right - the logotype of the National
Bank of Ukraine Mint.

On the reverse the hedgehog
is depicted and there are the inscriptions: above - ¯ÆÀÊ (hedgehog) and
below - ERINACEUS.
