Dedicated to a white stork, one of two species of the stork family in the fauna
of Ukraine.

On the coin obverse within
the beads circle there is the small State emblem of Ukraine is depicted,
above which there is 2004, the coin mintage year; between the beads
circle and the coin rim there are circular inscriptions ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (above),
2 à ÐÈÂͲ (beneath), as well as designation of
metal Au 999,9 (left), its mass 1,24 and the Mint
logo of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
