The coin is dedicated to
Olha Kobylianska Music and Drama Theatre in Chernivtsi, an architectural
masterpiece of the beginning of 20th century and an adornment of the
city, which was built in 1904 – 1905 according to the design project of
Austrian architects Ferdinand Felner and Hermann Helmer.

On the coin obverse there is a depiction of a sculptural composition
with Melpomene (scenic art symbol), which decorates the theatre portal; to the
right from it there are the small State Emblem of Ukraine and semicircular
inscriptions, above: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, beneath: ÄÅÑßÒÜ ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ; under the
sculptural composition there are Ag 925, designation of metal,
31,1g, its pure weight, the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine and 2005,
the coin mintage year.

On the coin reverse
there is a depiction of the theatre building and the monument to Olha Kobylianska,
which is located in front of the theatre; beneath it there is an
inscription: 100 ÐÎʲÂ,
around the coin circumference it is inscribed: ×ÅÐͲÂÅÖÜÊÈÉ ÌÓÇÈ×ÍÎ-ÄÐÀÌÀÒÈ×ÍÈÉ ÒÅÀÒÐ ³ì. Î.ÊÎÁÈËßÍÑÜÊί.
