On the coin obverse there is a depiction of a crane wedge
disappearing in clouds; an inscription ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (above), the small State
Emblem of Ukraine (right); under the wedge - 2005, the coin mintage year, below
- Ag 925, the designation of metal and 62,2 g, its pure weight, as well
as the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine; beneath - 20/ ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, the
coin face value.

On the coin reverse
in that part of the segment which is bounded by three searchlight beams
soldiers are depicted returning from the battle-front. To the left there is
an inscription: 60/ ÐÎʲÂ/ ÏÅÐÅÌÎÃÈ/ Ó ÂÅËÈʲÉ/ ²Ò×ÈÇÍßͲÉ/ ²ÉͲ/ 1941 – 1945,
under the inscription there is a holographic depiction of the Order of the
Great Patriotic War.
