The commemorative coin of 10 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to the
18th Winter Olympic Games in Nagano (Japan), the participant of which
was the Olympic team of Ukraine.

On the coin obverse
at the center, there is Small State Emblem of Ukraine; at its sides, there are
depictions of snow-flakes and designations of Ag 925, the symbol of precious
metal, and its weight 31,1. Above the State Emblem, there is the year of coin
issue -1998. Around the circumference there is a legend: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ and 10 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ,
in two lines.

On the coin reverse
there is a picture of a biathloner with a gun against a background of decorative
tracks. Around the circumference there is an inscription: ÕV²²² ÇÈÌβ
Î˲ÌϲÉÑÜʲ ²ÃÐÈ ÍÀÃÀÍÎ, split with snow-flakes.
