On the coin obverse
there is the in the middle the Small State Emblem of Ukraine. To its both sides,
there are conventionalized depictions of the stands and leaves of laurels.
Above, there is ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ inscription, underneath - 1996 - the year of issue.
Underneath, around the coins circumference there is an inscription: 2000000
ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (silver coin) or 200000 ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (cupronickel coin). On silver
coins, both sides from the issue date, there are designations of Àg 925 and
31,1, coin's pure weight.

On the coin reverse
there is the octahedron in the center, upon which a profile of a young woman
with a flower wreath is depicted - symbolic image of Ukraine, taken from the
Hryhoriy Narbut's banknote of 1918. Above there are figures of five ancient
athletes, underneath - figures of five modern sportsmen. To the octahedron right
- there is the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, to its left
- two line inscription ÀÒËÀÍÒÀ XXVI. Above around the coin circumference
there is an inscription ÏÅÐØÀ Ó×ÀÑÒÜ Ó Ë²ÒÍ²Õ Î˲ÌϲÉÑÜÊÈÕ ²ÃÐÀÕ.
