The coin is dedicated to one of the leading high
schools of Ukraine - Chernivtzi State University named after Juri Fedkovich.

On the coin obverse there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine framed with the ornamental cartouches
depicting ceiling stucco moulding of the main university building, the Mint logo
of the National Bank of Ukraine and the inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 2000, 2 ÃÐÈÂͲ.

On the coin reverse
there is a depiction of the main university facade (architect J.Hlavka) within
the vaulted opening and two lines inscriptions: ×ÅÐͲÂÅÖÜÊÈÉ ÄÅÐÆÀÂÍÈÉ
ÓͲÂÅÐÑÈÒÅÒ 125 ðîê³â.
