The coin is dedicated to 100th
anniversary of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, today the National Technical
University of Ukraine.

On the coin obverse there is a depiction of Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the center of a pattern
ornamental interpreting the interior decorated ceiling of the main institute
building. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 2
ÃÐÈÂͲ, 1998.
