The coins are dedicated to one of the twelve zodiac constellations

On the obverse of the 2 hryvnia
coin there is a circle diagonally divided into four sectors symbolizing four
elements: earth, air, water, fire; in the center of the circle there is a
styled image of the Sun. To the left of the circle there is the Small
National Emblem of Ukraine, to the right – the year of issue: 2006 as well
as the indication of the metal, its fineness – Au 999.9, weight of the
precious metal in fineness – 1.24; there are the circumferential
inscriptions: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (National Bank of Ukraine) above, 2
ÃÐÈÂͲ (2 hryvnias) below and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine
Mint.

On the coin obverse made of
silver, in the middle of the circle there is a conventionalized depiction of
the sun, left and right, from it, as well as above and beneath it, there are
four sunny spheres symbolizing four seasons. Left from the circle there is the
Small State Emblem of Ukraine, right - 2006, the coin mintage year, Ag 925,
the metal designation and 15,55g, its weight; around the coin circumference
there are inscriptions: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (National Bank of Ukraine) (above), 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ
(5 Hryvnias) (beneath),
as well as the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.

a styled image of Taurus with stars around it is depicted, and its Sign of
Zodiac above it.
