The coins are dedicated to one of the twelve Zodiac constellations - Gemini.

On the obverse of the 2 hryvnia
coin there is a circle diagonally divided into four sectors symbolizing four
elements: earth, air, water, fire; in the center of the circle there is a
styled image of the Sun. To the left of the circle there is the Small
National Emblem of Ukraine, to the right – the year of issue: 2006 as well
as the indication of the metal, its fineness – Au 999.9, weight of the
precious metal in fineness – 1.24; the circumscription: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ
ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (National Bank of Ukraine) above, 2 ÃÐÈÂͲ (2 hryvnias) below and
the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint

On the obverse of the 5 hryvnia coin
in the center of the circle there is a conventionalized image of the Sun, on
the left, on the right, above and underneath whereof – four lighted by it
spheres symbolizing the seasons. To the left of the circle there is the
Small National Emblem of Ukraine, to the right – the coin issue year: 2006
as well as the indication of the metal, its fineness – Ag 925, and weight of
the precious metal in fineness 15.55 are indicated; the circumscription:
ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (National Bank of Ukraine) above, 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5
hryvnias) below, and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
