To the left of the circle there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, to the right – the year of issue: 2008 as well as the indication of the metal, its fineness – Au 999.9, weight of the precious metal in fineness – 1.24; there are the circumferential legends: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above, 2 ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnias) below and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

To the left of the circle there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, to the right – the coin issue year: 2008, as well as the indication of the metal, its fineness – Ag 925, and the coin weight in fineness – 15.55; there are circumferential legends: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above and 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 hryvnias) below, as well as the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

On the reverse a conventionalized image of a lion with stars around it is depicted, and its Sign of Zodiac symbol above it.
