On the coin obverse there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, framed on both sides with an ornament of two oak leaves and two ears of wheat. There is the UKRAINE inscription above the coat of arms, and the year of coin mintage beneath it, as well as the Mint logo of the National bank of Ukraine.

The coin obverse is framed with salient edging along the perimeter. All depictions and inscriptions are relief.

On the coin reverse there is a digital designation of coin denomination, and beneath it - "ÃÐÈÂÍß" (hryvnia) inscription. On both sides of figure "1" there is symmetrical ornamentation of a conventionalized twigs. The coin reverse is framed with salient edging along the perimeter. All depictions and inscriptions are relief. 

Along the rim of the coin the following inscriptions are pressed in: "ONE HRYVNIA" and the year of its mintage, separated with dots from one another.
