he jubilee coin of 5 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to 900 years of
Novgorod-Siversk Principality, founded at the Lyuberetsk congress of old Russian
princes. The Novgorod-Siversk prince Igor's campaign against Polovets troops in
1185 was praised at the "Legend on Igor's Regiment", the outstanding work of
old-Russian and world literature.

On the coin obverse
within a sun circle there are the Small State emblem of Ukraine, disturbed birds
and a conventionalized inscription: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 5, ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, 1999.

against an old Russian fortress there is a chronicle depiction of prince's
fighting men in the campaign and a conventionalized circular
