Jubilee coins of 5 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to the outstanding victory
of Ukrainian army by the battle of Batih in the course of liberation war
between the Ukrainian-Tartar army headed by Bohdan Khmelnitskiy and the Polish
army headed by M.Kalinovskiy. The battle took place on 1-2 June, 1652 on the
left bank of the Southern Bouh river close to Batih mountain (near the village
of Chetvertynivka of Trostianets distrikt in Vinnitsa region).

On the coin obverse
there is a depiction of the general for this series composition symbolizing the
national idea of Unification of Ukraine: the emblematic figures of the Holy
Michael Archistrategos, the patron of Kiev and the crowned lion of L'viv
principality hold the Small State Emblem of Ukraine. There are as well
conventionalised inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 2002, 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ and the Mint logo of the
National bank of Ukraine.

in the middle of the beads circle, there is a depiction of the battle scene,
around which there is a conventionalised inscription: 350-в××ß ÁÈÒÂÈ Ï²Ä
ÁÀÒÎÃÎÌ (350 Years of the battle by Batih".
