Commemorative coin of 10 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to Petro Doroshenko,
the outstanding hetman of the Ukrainian state.

On the coin obverse
there is the composition similar to the whole Series of coins which embodies the
National idea of the Unified Ukraine: next to the small State Emblem of
Ukraine, the emblematic figures of Michael the Archistrategos and crowned lion
are located, which are symbols of Kyiv and Lviv Cities. On the coin there are
the conventionalized inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ, 10, ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, 1999, the designation
of precious metal - Ag 925 and its pure weight - 31,1.

On the coin reverse
in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, there is a depiction of the
Hetman-rider dressed in the festive military attire; to the right there is the
Emblem of Doroshenko's family (artist H.Narbut, 1914). On the coin there are
conventionalized circular inscriptions: ÏÅÒÐÎ ÄÎÐÎØÅÍÊÎ and 1627-1698.
