The coin is dedicated to the
50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On the coin obverse there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads
circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State
Emblem there is the year of issue -1995. The two-line inscription 200000
ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍÖ²Â, the coin face value, is beneath the small State Emblem (200000
number is split by the beads ornamentation). Between the external edge and the
beads ornamentation, around the circumference there is an inscription
ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ split with rhombic separative marks from the word
ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍÖ²Â.

On the coin reverse
there is in the center the Sophia square ensemble in Kiev - St.Sophia cathedral
and the Bohdan Khmelnytsky monument. Against a background of the Cathedral, to
the right there is the figure of a young woman with flowers in national attire -
symbol of young independent Ukraine, who is bending her head in front of eternal
flame of people's memory on all perished at the Great Patriotic War. Around the
circumference at the coin upper part there is an inscription ÏÅÐÅÌÎÃÀ Ó ÂÅËÈʲÉ
²Ò×ÈÇÍßÍ²É Â²ÉͲ. Beneath the horizontal line there is the inscription
1941-1945
