The coins are dedicated to the
85th anniversary of birth of Dmytro Lutsenko (1921 – 1989),
who was born in the village of Berezova Rudka of Poltava region. Dmytro
Lutsenko was the author of texts of many famous songs: 'My Kyiv ", Grey
Hairs",
Front-Line Soldiers", "Mother's Cherry Tree", "Autumn Gold", etc.

On the obverse t of both coins there a chestnut tree
blossom cluster is depicted against the background of
Kyiv panorama (to the right); above there is the Small National Emblem
of Ukraine, thereunder - the inscription: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (Ukraine), to the
left the semicircular inscription against the mirror-like background: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ (National Bank)
and the year of coinage – 2006; denomination on the silver coin - Ï’ßÒÜ ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 Hryvnias),
the name of the metal and its fineness - Ag 925, its weight in
fineness - 15.55, on the German silver coin: IJ ÃÐÈÂͲ (2 Hryvnias). On both coins
there is the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

On the coin reverse
of both coins there is a portrait of Dmytro Lutsenko, to the right whereof two chestnut
blossom clusters and conventionalized inscriptions: Áåðåçîâà/ Ðóäêà
1921/ Êè¿â 1989 (Berezova/ Rudka/
1921/ Kyiv/ 1989);and two semicircular inscriptions: above - ßÊ ÒÅÁÅ ÍÅ ËÞÁÈÒÈ, ÊȪŠ̲É!
